Meet your Guide

 A licensed NYS guide since 2003, William Lints is an avid outdoorsman, author, scholar, activist, artist, and volunteer. William’s diverse background is sure to give you or your group a unique Adirondack experience. He began fishing and hiking in the Adirondacks at a very young age and over the years, won numerous State and National fishing awards. After finishing college he worked for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service as an Environmental Scientist and then as a Professor of Science for the State University of New York.  He is a member and former President of the New York State Outdoorsmen Hall of Fame, Founding member of the Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks, Member of the Adirondack Council, and Board Member of the Utica Zoological Society. William lives in the Southern Adirondack Mountains with his wife Kari.
