Coming in the winter of 2011, ADK Mountain Sports will be offering you the opportunity to “go green” by putting away your motorized snow machine and traveling by the power of a 100% authentic Alaskan Malamute sled dog team...the original Arctic sled dog. This breed is capable of pulling thousands of pounds, making them arguably the strongest breed in the world. Admiral Richard Byrd chose an Alaskan Malamute team on his famous trip to the South Pole; thus, putting the breed in the Guinness book of World records for withstanding temperatures of –70 degrees Fahrenheit.
